i love henna. & i'd love to get my back tatooed like that. eid has been alright so far. this was daddy's first bari eid in about, ummm 20 or so years. he got worked up and bought four bakras and one cow instead of the regular cow that we'd get every year. on a personal note, i hate raw meat. and i've just about never participated in the mincing of it at home. ewww...
a freind had a bonfire at her place on chaand raat. an all girls thing. was fun. haven't attended one of those in a loong time. she lives right accross the zamzama park and i was at deja vu, so i decided to walk to her place. successfully crossed the zamzama street and jogged all the way to the park. inside though, i was afraid i'd get lost coz well, its HUGE. and it was dark. and the lights were low. it was also cold.
walked a bit in a direction i thought led to the gate towards her house. walked faster and looked around to see there were only two gates, so the one i was walking towards had to be the right one. by the time i reached the gate, i actually felt sorry that my walk in the park had ended. i had stopped feeling cold the moment i had picked up my pace and it felt amazing walking underneath the starry sky, breathing in clean refreshing air. loved it. i loove walks like those.
got henna done on my hands. was nice. met up with some really old school friends. discussed who won in "america's next top model". i mean, u have to understand, this friend is very girly, she looves dressing up and so do her friends. i love dressing up, but only on occasion. and umm makeup talk somehow just isn't all that interesting.
and i hate being short. i'm 5'2.5 and i know this part has nothing to do with what i just typed above, but sometimes i hate being umm petite. i think thats the right word. though i am not exactly petite. i'll settle for short. umm average.
right, like today, i tried to unscrew the shower cap and despite standing on my toes, i could the cap but i couldnt twist it around properly. didn't know taking a shower cap off could be such a... challange.
oh well,
happy eid everyone!
:)
