happy happy busy day of bonding as well...

yesterday, i felt like i was running against time...
... work, meeting with forum people, dropping off resume at another place, coming back to work, leaving work to go home, taking a 15 min much-needed nap, showered in 10 min, taught student for 65 min, got ready to meet rocker/bass-ist friend for coffee in 10 min...
... even though i did most of the talking, i ended up having a wonderful time :) stayed for coffee till 11-ish. mum came to pick me up and ended up spending 15 min with friend as well.

home, hugged lil sis (who i later discovered on my way back a la mum, that she had had a huge crush on that bass-ist friend), jumped into pJs... went through graphic design course...

this is what i'll be learning:

sketching (types of lines, shading, and a host of other things)
things about colors, characteristics, psychological effects bla bla,
typography...
..and a lot of other things...

im excited and want to learn everything at once!

but i've never tried my hand at sketching.
i've taken pictures, done a bit of glass painting, knitted, embroidered, made clay thingies, painted walls and earthen pots... but i've never sketched... sounds intimidating.

technically, to be a graphic designer on the computer, i need to know how to sketch with my own two hands...
... and its a six month course, i want to finish it in one month...

there is soo much to do and so less time to do it in!
