he looked around curiously. walked cautiously around the room and inspected different corners. he settled comfortably on a place in the ground and looked up at her. she bent down and gently stroked him. he allowed that. but made it apparant he hadn't warmed up to her.

he had his milk and began to clean himself. his tongue first swept over his mouth and nose and than he bent his head towards his paws. she pushed her index finger between them. he stopped. looked at it for a moment and than put his paw over it. bringing his head down, he licked his paws clean and than proceeded to do the same with her finger. she pushed another finger forward and he cleaned that one as well. stretching comfortably he closed his eyes and was asleep in a few seconds.

she gently picked him up and put him on the bed. he looked around as if dazed, rolled onto his side and slept. she gently touched one of his tiny paws. washed her hands and blew him a kiss goodnight and left the room, closing the door behind her.

they weren't friends yet. but there was alway a start. she couldn't wait to shower her love on him.
