just arrived at work after getting me shots. 2 more to go and i am officially allowed to work out. yippee! :D

eid was spent sleeping. we (mum, myself, hira and the maid) closed all the lights and the curtains, unplugged the phone and pretended we weren't home in the afternoon so all of us could sleep :P i mean, everyone was exhausted. we only attended those events that were absolutely neccessary.

munchkins was wonderful :) they were good, energetic, maybe not their best but were definitly a pleasure to "experience" again ;) got the shock of my life when nari arrived with a cousin i was expecting would arrive in pak-land any minute but didn't know when... someone i hadn't met in over eight years! gave nari the biggest of hugs and left cousin out, i didn't recognise her till she said, "you dont recognise me do you?"... in a fit of shock and happiness i began to take her around the place and introducin her to people till i earned the title of ms. social butterfly (huh? me? a butterfly?!).

spent half the evening with model-date (yes, we're frands), half with recent-acquaintance, and half with myself. post-event i was accused by a couple of not paying them any attention. i swear, i didn't mean not to! post-event at Nandos, natasha whipped out her cellphone and took photo of me and gumby for her musik-moments thing. and then spent 15 minutes explaining what it was :D

two major meetings with both of me bosses on saturday. end of the year issue deadlines and work and brainstorming and shit-loads of work wiht the other as well. the latter i like better and the former makes me feel smart :P came home late, tired and freaked out. how was i to do everything on time?

sunday was without rest. spent the first half of the day frantically transcribing a super-long but brilliant interview. only got 19 minutes out of the 2 hours done. escaped to long-overdue afternoon-spending with friend. caught up, laughed, had awesome conversation. and left with a moroccon shoe ;)

right now. i have do squeeze in as much work as i can in 3 hours, have a visitor coming in at home around 5.30 and have a danc-event, Odissi by Sadia Khan, to attend and review tonight. photos by Amean J of herself and her cute, lil dancers came out pretty well :)
