i'm blogging in my favorite font: courier new. sometimes i like switching over to trebuchant. dont know why, but fonts have been particularly important to me. i hate, i absolutely hate times new roman. i prefer arial when typing out official documents.
ive been wondering, how has blogging changed for us after the pta imposed ban on blogging? has it changed us as bloggers? are we more reluctant to blurt out things that are on our mind.
sometimes, i have to keep reminding myself that i started blogging for myself. the concept of people reading and commenting on my entries was entirely alien than. dont get me wrong, i like getting feedback, but sometimes one has to remind herself of why she switched from handwritten journals to online blogs. for herself. and therefore, i dedicate all my efforts in doing just that. blogging for myself. voicing my thoughts as they come to me, and not worrying about whether the "readers" would like it. because than it ruins the flow. the flow of thought. it brings in the blogger's block which is a terrible thing to experience in itself.
in a couple of weeks, i shall be shifting my blog to www.madeehasyed.com/thevintageshop.html yes, my sister bought me a dot com and im thinking of ways to make it more me. shall have a link to music, writing, photography and blog. and a link for all of the websites that i like to link to and if anyone wants to me to link to. its funny, coz i feel the same way i think i would have felt had i bought a new apartment. a place of my own! my very very own.. even if in cyber space :)
i have an interview tomorrow. for the post of editorial assistant. will blog about it after the interview. all i can say is, i hope i really hope i get in. the funny thing is, i didnt apply for the position, it found me. and hopefully, through all of this, i would have made a new friend (the person who's place i shall be taking and who contacted me-"replaced" is not the appropriate word here). so i go tomorrow, with my resume and a bag with freshly ground coffee beans and a mug for my interview.
the coffee beans and the mug are for the person-who-contacted-me. by the way, im selling excellent coffee for anyone interested. and person-who-contacted-me told me her father loves coffee and therefore he gets some. for the record, this is not bribery.
and even if i dont get in... i mean, it wouldn't be the end of the world. it would just mean that its not my time yet. im still young. and there is a whole world out there :)
im feeling blessed tonight.
i love blogsville.
i love all of you bloggers! *muah* *hugs*
i love everyone!
damn... why cant i hug someone to sleep!
i love life anyway!
a big fat *muah*
