not exactly. i dont just want to be a rockstar :) but music is very good soul-food. i'd like to go to the extent of having complete mastery over my vocals and guitar so i can express myself through music as well as i can by writing. without making it big. if you know what i mean.
there is an undeniable fact that some songs haunt. there is no other way to describe them. they haunt. and some renditions tend to go down and grab you from within and in effect, give goosebumps. no matter how many times you listen to them, they have the same effect: goosbumps.
haunt. goosebumps.
soul seems to be my favorite word nowadays.
some of the worlds greatest maestros have never won a single award. these awards are meant for people and not for the musicians themselves.
i really need to increase my vocabulary. i'm running out of words.
ever heard a voice that makes you feel as if the person's soul is speaking directly to you?
